Recently, many in the Jewish community have expressed concerns with the statement made by CU Boulder’s Department of Ethnic studies in support of Palestine. While several Jewish organizations and individuals made their objections known, ADL along with others reached out to the university leadership, and both CU Boulder President Todd Saliman and Chancellor Philip Distefano responded with their own statements.
The Jewish community’s leaders reacted to these statements in the letter below, thanking President Saliman for his online comments, and expressing our opinion that the Chancellor did not go far enough in his minimalist response.
